Cytokeratin 20 stainings

Normal bladder mucosa. The superficial cells of transitional epithelium are intensively stained. Intermediate cells are only weakly stained.

Normal skin. The Merkel cells in the basal layer are intensely stained, whereas all others cells are unstained.

Normal colonmucosa. The enterocytes are increasingly stained from crypt base to mucosal surface. Normal small intestine. The enterocytes are increasingly stained from crypt base to mucosal surface. Also the endocrine cells in the crypt base are stained.
