CD5 in neoplasms

Fig. 2A. Peripheral T-cell lymphoma. All neoplastic cells are strongly stained for CD5. Fig. 2B. T-cell rich follicular B-cell lymphoma. The neoplastic cells are unstained while the infiltrating T-cells are strongly stained for CD5.
Fig. 2C. Mantle cell lymphoma stained for CD5. All neoplastic cells are stained. Note that a few cells - presumably representing normal T-cells - are more strongly stained.

Fig. 2D. Left: Mantle cell lymphoma (same as in Fig. 2C) composed of small to medium-sized cells with irregular nuclei (HE).

Right: Mantle cell lymphoma stained for Cyclin D1. Most  neoplastic cells show strong nuclear staining.
