CD10 in normal cells

backback
Fig. 1A. Normal tonsil stained for CD10. Virtually all germinal centre cells are stained whereas the mature cells are unstained. Fig 1B. Ileum with infiltrating renal cell carcinoma. The enterocytes are stained corresponding the brush border (upper part). The tumour is diffusely stained (lower part).
Fig. 1C. Normal liver stained for CD10. The staining is strongest corresponding the bile canaliculi. Note that the staining intensity is somewhat stronger than that of germinal centre cells (Fig 1A), and appear slightly overstained (which must be accepted, if the protocol should be used for detection of CD10 in lymphoid neoplasms) Fig. 1D. Breast with ductal carcinoma in situ stained for CD10. The myoepithelial cells in normal ducts (lower left) and as well as ducts with carcinoma in situ (upper right) are stained. Also some stromal cells are CD10 positive.
